Reiki (Ray-Kee) is a Japanese word representing Universal Life Energy, the energy which is in and all around us, Reiki when applied for purposes of healing, as the natural ability to heal itself physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. It accelerates the body’s ability to heal physical ailments and opens the mind and spirit to the causes of dis-ease, disharmony and pain, seeks out imbalances and tends to remove obstacles on all levels. With this understanding, you take responsibility for your life and experience the joys of balanced wellness in an ancient Tibetan system of natural hands on healing. It is a powerful expression of unconditional love.

REIKI Treatments

Receiving a Reiki Treatment: A Reiki treatment is a light hands-on process whereby the Reiki practitioner transfers Universal Life Force to the recipient, whether it be to the body of another person or into the practitioners own body. A Reiki treatment is safe, non-intrusive and non-manipulative. There are no substances applied to the body and the recipient remains fully clothed. While focus during a full Reiki treatment is given to the major organs, every cell of the body benefits. In addition to the formal body positions, Reiki can be applied to any area of the body that has been injured. Reiki will even work through bandages or a cast and can also be transmitted at a distance by a level 2 or higher practitioner. The sensation felt by the recipient is usually a feeling of warmth, well being and comfort.

How Reiki works: The Reiki practitioner is a channel for the energy and therefore is not actually doing the healing. Reiki works in conjunction with and as an adjunct to medical and non-medical treatment and therapy. The receiver's willingness to assume responsibility for himself or herself aids in the healing process; yet Reiki is not a faith healing. Reiki can relieve pain and acute symptoms quite rapidly, while more chronic problems may require more extensive treatment. Length of treatment depends on the root cause of the problem and the amount of energy needed to bring the problem area of the body back into balance. Undergoing initiation to become a Reiki practitioner brings this process one step further in bringing the energy into your life and creating a continuous healing process for your body, mind and spirit.

How can I become a Reiki Practitioner?

If you have ever had the desire to heal yourself or others and are willing to open your heart to unconditional love, then you can become a channel for Reiki Energy.

A Reiki Practitioner who has been attuned facilitates Reiki energy and trained by a Reiki Master, You do not use your own energy but learn to tap into the Universal Energy Source. Reiki is a touching experience of living light energy.

Learning the Reiki System

Reiki I – permanently opens you to the path of Reiki energy. You are lovingly taught how to use Reiki on yourself and others and how to access your higher self.

Reiki II –Further enhances the Reiki energy and teaches you the symbols for distant healing, mental and emotional balance and focusing energy. It prepares you to be a certified Reiki Practitioner.

Reiki III- (Reiki Teacher Training)- is for those who wish to teach and certify others in Reiki.
